Tour Plan

Day 1 Madrid or Barcelona → Luxor

Flight to Luxor, arrival, visa payment, and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 Luxor

Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings:

  • Tomb of Seti I

  • Tomb of Ramses V & VI

  • Tomb of the famous Pharaoh Tutankhamun
    Then visit the Valley of the Queens to see the spectacular Tomb of Queen Nefertari, one of the finest artworks in the world.
    Also visit the Tomb of Prince Amunherkhepeshef.
    End the tour at the Colossi of Memnon.
    Return to the hotel for lunch.
    In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Temple and enjoy a walk through the city with a drink at one of Luxor's cafes.

Day 3 Luxor (Nile Cruise Begins)

Morning visit to:

  • Temple of Queen Hatshepsut

  • Valley of the Artisans (Deir el-Medina)

  • Medinet Habu Temple (Temple of Ramses III)
    Return to the hotel for lunch.
    Afternoon visit to Karnak Temple, with its iconic Hypostyle Hall of 134 columns, Sacred Lake, and Hatshepsut's Obelisk.
    Dinner and overnight on board the cruise.

Day 4 Luxor → Esna → Edfu

Morning visit to the Valley of the Nobles and the Ramesseum (Temple of Ramses II).
Return to the ship, lunch, and start sailing toward Edfu via the Esna Lock.
Dinner and overnight onboard in Edfu.

Day 5 Edfu → Kom Ombo → Aswan

Morning visit to the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt.
Return to the ship and sail to Kom Ombo.
Lunch onboard.
Afternoon visit to Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to Sobek the Crocodile God and his brother Haroeris the Falcon.
Sail to Aswan, dinner, and overnight onboard.

Day 6 Aswan → Abu Simbel → Aswan

Early morning departure with breakfast picnic to visit the grand Temples of Abu Simbel:

  • The Great Temple of Ramses II, honoring Amun, Ra, Ptah, and himself as a god

  • The Small Temple dedicated to Hathor and his beautiful wife Queen Nefertari, symbol of beauty and love
    Return to Aswan, lunch.
    Afternoon felucca ride through the Elephantine Island and the Botanical Garden, ending the day with a visit to the Nubian Village.
    Dinner and overnight onboard in Aswan.

Day 7 Aswan → Cairo
  • Morning visit to the Unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple (Temple of Isis).
    Lunch at a local restaurant.
    Afternoon flight from Aswan to Cairo.
    Overnight at the hotel..

Day 8 Cairo

Morning visit to the Giza Pyramids: Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, plus the Great Sphinx.
Lunch.
Afternoon visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, home of the Royal Mummies and rare artifacts showcasing Egypt’s full history.
Evening dinner with a city tour of Cairo by night.
Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 Cairo

Visit to the Alabaster Mosque (Mohamed Ali Mosque) inside the Citadel of Saladin, then the Egyptian Museum, lunch at a local restaurant, and a walk through the Coptic Quarter.
End the day at Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
Dinner and overnight in Cairo.

Day 10 Cairo → Madrid or Barcelona

Depending on flight time, transfer to Cairo Airport. Safe journey!
